Karate Training Classes

Karate training is essential in schools as, it not only ensures physical fitness and agility, but also teaches valuable life skills, such as discipline, focus, self-control, self-respect and self-confidence. It teaches students the importance of adhering to rules. Learning Karate is compulsory in South Point School. Pupils from Classes II to V take lessons from professional coaches in the Kyokushin style. On the days Karate Classes are scheduled, pupils are to come to School in the Karate uniform, failing which they may not be allowed to attend classes. Optional Karate classes are held in High School on Saturdays. Pointers – whether from Junior or High School – have been consistently winning laurels in Karate competitions across the state and the nation.
