South Point has the most upgraded computer system and software, ensuring a smoother running of School affairs and easing out the communication process amongst all – pupils, teachers and guardians. Tedious processes, such as, applying for admission, generation of report cards, collection of School and Transport fees, issuing caution money or transfer certificates, etc., have become hassle-free now, owing to the user-friendly, flexible and secure system that puts the data at our fingertips – literally!

The complex admission process has greatly benefitted from the upgraded software and has become much simpler. All areas of the admission procedure – registration, detailed entry of application, scrutiny of forms, availability of integrated information during interviews, and publication of results – all of these are now done expeditiously.

The advanced search facility is of great help. Similarly, examinations and printing of Progress Reports, laser-printed for the first time, is done in greater detail, comprising personal traits, conduct and attendance percentage. The fee collection process can update parents on payment status without hassle. The new Class VI admission form now comes with semi-filled information on a pupil, minimizing wastage of time.

The software used are Visual Basic (Front End), SQL Server (Back End) and Crystal Reports.
