Medical Care
Complete with comfortable beds and first-aid facilities, the First-Aid Rooms in both South Point School and South Point High School are supervised by the most responsible and caring Matrons. They take care of ailing pupils and provide basic medical assistance. Doctors are called in, if necessary. And, in case of an emergency, and if the pupil lives far, the School informs parents and organizes hospitalization.
The School matrons are present at all programmes, held on the School premises or outside, to make first-aid available to the participants, members of staff and the audience / spectators in case of an emergency. Ambulance facility is also available to all stakeholders during any event.

*** A similar arrangement exists with Ruby General Hospital, located on the E. M. Bypass. Pointers as outdoor patients can get 15% discount on all investigations and diagnostic tests. In-patients are eligible for a discount of 15% each on all investigations and diagnostic tests, on bed and operation theatre charges.
*** The unique Students’ Safety Insurance Scheme, offered by the M. P. Birla Smarak Kosh (South Point), covers Pointers from Nursery I to Class XII, against accidents, 24 hours a day, anywhere in India. The insurance cover is provided by the United India Insurance Co.Ltd. Apart from capital benefits, medical expenses incurred for such accidents are reimbursed, subject to a ceiling. The premium for this umbrella coverage is borne by the Kosh.
